In Diablo 4, stealth doesn't feel like a game-changer. Unlike other RPGs where you can sneak around and set up traps or avoid combat, here, stealth is mainly used to dodge damage and heal. The Sorcerer in Diablo 4 is undeniably powerful. At first, it's a blast to play. You can unleash devastating chain lightning, freeze enemies and shatter them, and call down fire dragons that scorch everything in sight. And sure, it's fun to watch large groups of enemies melt under your control, but here's the issue: once you reach a certain point, it becomes a bit too... easy.

 

The Sorcerer doesn't require much engagement. You set up your abilities, and then, for the most part, sit back and watch as everything dies. You don't have to dodge much, and you don't really need to think about positioning or managing your resourcesjust hold down a button and let the chaos unfold. It's satisfying at first, but the novelty wears off quickly. The flashier abilities, like the fire spells, don't feel impactful enough to justify how underwhelming they are against certain enemies, especially bosses.

 

The class has some great abilities, and the sense of raw power is undeniable, but the gameplay can feel repetitive and unchallenging after a while. It's easy to kill everything around you, but it lacks that hands-on experience that makes you feel engaged with the world.

 

3. The Barbarian Fun, But Feels Weak at Times

 

The Barbarian is a classic choice for any Diablo fan. Melee-focused, with powerful physical attacks and the ability to leap into combat, they should be a blast to play, right? The Barbarian can indeed be a lot of fun, especially with abilities that let you spin around in a whirlwind or leap into large packs of enemies to wreak havoc. The movement is fluid, and the combat feels satisfying when you're able to dodge attacks while dishing out damage.

 

But here's the thing: the Barbarian feels a bit weak at times. You need to get up close to enemies, which always puts you in danger. Some abilities, like the whirlwind, do some damage but aren't as impactful as you'd like them to be. The Barbarian is engaging, yes, because you're constantly dodging and dealing damage up close, but you can't help but feel that some of your attacks should hit harder.

 

That said, there's something undeniably fun about the Barbarian's power fantasy. You can jump into a group of enemies, build up rage, and then unleash devastating attacks. There's a cool finisher ability where you smack an enemy's head, and if it dies, you get to keep using that ability over and over, which is a blast.

 

Overall, the Barbarian is fun, but it can feel a bit weak compared to other classes in the game. It's still incredibly enjoyable in terms of raw melee combat, though, especially when you're able to chain abilities together for massive damage.

 

2. The Necromancer Power, but Needs the Right Legendary

 

The Necromancer is one of the most powerful classes in Diablo 4, and for many, that's where the fun comes from. The ability to raise the dead, summon minions, and unleash destructive bone-based spells is fantastic. At first, it's similar to the Sorcerereasy to use, powerful abilities, and a sense of dominance over the battlefield.

And now, we come to the Druid. This class has quickly become my personal favorite, and for good reason. Yes, it's probably the weakest class on paper, at least in the early stages. But once you start unlocking abilities and synergizing with legendary items, the Druid turns into one of the most fun classes to play.

 

The Druid has a wide variety of abilities that let you transform into different forms. You can turn into a werewolf for fast, close-range attacks, or a bear for tanking damage. There's something incredibly satisfying about shifting between forms on the fly to maximize your effectiveness in combat.

 

The true fun of the Druid, however, comes from the flexibility it offers. You can play as a full-on shape-shifting tank, a melee powerhouse, or even as a ranged caster. The possibilities feel endless, especially with legendary items that give you bonuses for shape-shifting or abilities that summon animals or elemental forces to help you in battle. One of my favorite builds was the one where each shapeshifting form offered health regeneration, making you nearly unkillable.

 

The Druid's abilities are a spectacle. From sending boulders smashing into enemies to summoning ravens or vines, the Druid feels like a true force of nature. Sure, it starts a bit slow and weak, but once you hit your stride, the Druid turns into a powerhouse that is not only fun to play but offers a fresh take on how to approach combat in Diablo 4.
