For the third time as the head coach at Arkansas, Dave Van Horn has been named SEC Coach of the Year. Doubters never stopped Van Horn however, as the Hogs clinched a share of the regular season title and are predicted by many to have already secured a top eight national seed.Injuries were a big storyline for this year's Arkansas team, as eight key players have missed an intermediate amount of time, with four not able to return this season. Freshman pitcher Gage Wood seemed to have had just a limited role from the bullpen to start the season, but through injuries got a chance to turn into one of the best relievers in the SEC.Second baseman Peyton Holt has been the player thriving off the bench most recently. After starter Peyton Stovall went down for the year, Holt is hitting .455 with eight RBIs and one homerun.
